Music enhances a workout. And research conducted at Brunel University suggests that listening to music while exercising increases endurance by up to 15%.

Hence why, I’ve never been into a tuneless gym.

But exactly how and why music motivates us is still a mystery. Does the melody just make exercise more pleasurable…
